R. Scott Russell brings more than three decades of experience helping organizations build cultures where people feel genuinely valued, connected, and motivated by purpose. Currently serving as Foundation Executive Director at Effingham Health System, Scott focuses on philanthropy, employee engagement, and recognition initiatives that strengthen morale while directly supporting the mission of delivering high-quality healthcare close to home.

Throughout his career, Scott has been known for his thoughtful, people-first approach and his ability to translate organizational values into meaningful employee experiences. He works collaboratively across leadership teams to design initiatives that celebrate contribution, reinforce belonging, and sustain engagement - particularly in complex, high-stakes environments where trust and culture directly impact outcomes.

Prior to his work in healthcare, Scott played a key role in engagement strategy at Verizon, supporting the Southeastern region, and at C.A. Short Company, where he helped organizations strengthen workforce connection through recognition and culture programs. As an advisor to HARRIS | ALLISON, Scott brings a grounded, human-centered perspective on how trust, recognition, and purpose intersect to create resilient organizations that perform - and endure.
